Event reminder was working "string on finger-icon" now its not lost dates etc

Event reminder was working and I had monthly reminders birthdays etc popup when they came up Finger icon with a string around it on tool bar

now not working realised at work that my bosses birthday was here and no reminder :(

Can I reload a file that will bring back all my lost data /dates
