Big troubles with secure connection
Hi,
I have BIG troubles with Firefox 36.0.1 on Yosemite and with secure connections.
To check completely, I have even created a NEW USER on my machine to start from scratch with the Firefox preferences.
With the very first run there is a problem: Firefox is warning me that the connection with the Firefox first-run server is not secure. When I push the button that I would like to add the certificate, the website is not correctly rendered (no stylesheets).
With the Twitter website it is even WORSER: I DO NO HAVE AN "ACCEPT BUTTON" !!!!
What should I do ? There is another user on my machine who does not have all that problems...... Very strange.

I would like to post some screenshots to show the problem.
hi konrad, first please make sure that the date, time & timezone are set correctly on your system. if this doesn't solve the issue (or it is already set properly), a possible solution depends on different factors:
- what is the error code shown under technical details on the error page?
in case the error code equals sec_error_unknown_issuer, please attempt to add an exception on the bottom of the error page & inspect the certificate (see the screenshot attached for instructions):
- which issuer information does the certificate contain?
please report back with those pieces of information. thank you!
Hi Philipp,
Thank you for replying. Yes my timezone and date are correct.
Yes the error issued from twitter.com is "sec_error_unknown_issuer" BUT as you can see I the screenshot below there is NO "Add button"!!!!
And with other trustable sites I know, Firefox or Tumblr.com the site is completely broken (no stylesheet)...
try to get to the issuer information of the failing certificate when using another site (without hsts) like https://www.youtube.com/ ...
