Every time I open Firefox, 2 tabs open, first is the normal Firefox tab, second is Google Chrome which opens and bypasses the first tab. I don't want Google Chrome tab to exist and stop appearing.

Hi ghostwriter412, Thank you for your question, I understand that there is a second tab that shows up as the homepage when you launch Firefox.

Change this with these instructions:

  1. Open Firefox Options/Preferences from the "three-bar" menu
  2. In General delete the url that appears on start up
  3. Restart Firefox

If resetting the start up pages did not change this after restarting the browser. It is possible to try to Reset Firefox to the factory default.

Reset Firefox preferences to troubleshoot and fix problems
