I get an error message that says , nsAppShell:EventWindow:firefox.exe... Application E... The instruction at 0x7758e1144 referenced memory at 0xffffffff. the memory could not be read. Click on OK to terminate the program. What's wrong and how do I fix it?

The other BP reports look like the above.

Suggestion; Windows: Start > Control Panel > Uninstall Programs. Mac: Open the "Applications" folder Linux:

  • Ubuntu Unity {web link}
  • Xfce: Applications Menu category sections
  • options depends on the package manager and the desktop environment

Go thru the list and remove ALL flash programs. After, reboot. Then start Firefox. Some web pages will not look proper, but we are not worried about that. Only if there are more crashes.

I copied and pasted all the reports did you get them?

Yes, I saw the post. But many of them did not have BP, so those were not sent on. I did look at those that were there. Look at my posts above.

I looked and the only flash program I see is Adobe. However, I did update another version of adobe and whether that had anything to do with the crashes I don't know but I haven't received and error messages for the last couple of days. I'd still like to know what they have to say about the error messages and crashes. Please keep me advised. By the way should I turn the accelerator back on?

Those type of message may mean there is / was a conflict somewhere in one of the programs. If it never comes back, Great !
