I hope that this problem can be solved very quickly because it is extremely frustrating not to be able to play when you want to and be paying for for the frustration. Shandel33
Is this still a problem? Does this happen on other browsers besides Firefox? I'm afraid I don't understand what you mean by you got 'knocked off'- are you unable to log in, or is the game not displaying? More information might give me ideas on how to help solve your issue.
I have been having a problem with POGO as well. I can get into the home page but when I try to load a game it comes up with the error The connection was reset. See the screen shot below. It does not matter what game it is it always comes up with the same thing.
I am seeing an issue with Firefox 8.0.1 and www.pogo.com. I can get to the main page just fine. However, when I attempt to go to any of the games, the screen turns blank. The Java console also fails to start up. Here is an example of a URL where this occurs:
http://www.pogo.com/games/stackem?pageSection=cp_home_favorites
It does NOT MATTER which game is chosen.
I have disabled all add-ons, checked pop-up blockers etc, and am still unsuccessful.
Please note - IE9 and Chrome 12 do NOT have this issue.
My feeling is that this an issue with Firefox and Java.
If anyone can provide any insight, I certainly would appreciate it.
Thank you!
I can get to the main menu of pogo games. But when I want to play a certain game it will not load. Have to go in through the back door, on most visited and that only lets me play in one room of rummy, cannot not change to another room or go and play a different game, help help help
I give...How do I read the reply to the questions in the forum? I am logged in.
'I should have stated how do I read the solutions or answers to the questions...I Miss POGO''''
Additional testing has shown that even running Firefox 8.0.1 in Safe Mode does NOT allow the pogo web site to function properly.
I am also having the same problems as the others as indicated in www.pogo.com I cannot activate a green button, it just goes to a blank page. When clicking on a game it goes to a reset page or stating the site maybe to busy to load up.. I used to be able to 'piggyback' thru someone else via friend's list but no longer. I've unchecked the popup blocker, etc. that the site suggested Also, as a note, I have Yahoo as my main web site, and since Yahoo put their version of a game bar on their web site, without my permission, that is when all the problems started to occur. What happens is when I click on a game in pogo. a Yahoo 'causal game' page quickly appears then disappears before pogo tries to come up. That, in turn, disrupts all of pogo's interface with the computer. I looked to see what the address was and it is called a 'pre-fetch'. I was able to, I thought, disable the Yahoo game bar succesfully, via their instructions but the game bar still existed. Then I went up into the tabs to undo the Yahoo game bar which left the screen. Figuring that was done I rebooted but to my dismay it didn't solve the issues at all. HELPPPPPPPPPPP!!!! WHAT TO DO!!!??? Don't know if its a Firef0x/Java issues or Yahoo's problem but I've also sent this to Yahoo as well. I also agree what the others say when I've paid to use the pogo game site!!
