How do I download directly to a file on my computer? I don't want to have to go online to find downloaded files. I want to send them directly to a file in my docs.

I don't want to look for downloaded files on the net. I want to download directly to my documents files on my hard drive. Too many steps when it automatically downloads to a file on Foxfire.

Firefox has a basic download manager, without any frills. You may want to look into an external download manager program that has all the features you want for downloading files.
