Firefox does not open my startpage Ubuntu 20.04
From this morning onwards Firefox does not open my desired startpage "https://www.startpagina.nl" automatically. The only thing to start this page is by clicking the Home icon. Via options I have typed in the correct name many times. Sometimes it starts with "startpagina.nl", but most of the times it does not. How can I fix this? Thanks, Ed

Hello,
Maybe you are Restoring Previous Session everytime. You can turn off this feature by following way:-
- Type about:preferences#general in URL bar and press enter.
- Uncheck the Restore Previous Session.
Hope it helps. Thank You.
Hi Ed, I just wanted to mention that 3 users with Yahoo set as their home page and one user with Gmail set as their home page also reported getting a blank page at startup in Firefox 77.0.1 in recent days. I haven't see an explanation for it yet. Since multiple sites are affected, it could be a setting or add-on issue, yet to be tracked down.
Thank you for the quick response, Shashank Shekhar and jscher2000! Restore Previous Session was unchecked. I shall have to wait for a solution. It is no big issue because I can start it manually. Thanks anyway!!
Thank you very much Pallavi kumari! I followed the link to mozilla and tried some solutions. At one point it said that if emptying cache and removing cookies would not help you will have to wait till a solution will appear. I think I will do that. Thanks for your efforts!!

The Refresh Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its default state while saving your essential information. Consider using it before going through a lengthy troubleshooting process. The Firefox Safe Mode window includes a Refresh Firefox option. You can start Firefox in Safe Mode by holding down the shiftkey while starting Firefox.
