When I click on browse for a file, the file dialog does not open. Therefore I cannot search for the file that I wish to upload. The same website works with Opera, Chrome, Brave, Edge..... but not with firefox.

The file dialog can be blocked by your security software, for instance Avast, G-Data, Kaspersky.

Do you have any of these?

Hi, I do not have any of these things running. This is a website that I am developing. When I click on 'browse' button, I get a message that says, i must 'browse for file first.' I am checking the routine over again but it is frustrating since there is no problem in any other browser(Chrome, Opera, Edge, Brave) that I have tried. Thanks for helping.

The problem seems to be resolved. It was in the code I was using. I was just perplexed by the fact that the other browsers worked with that code. I'd post some code if you are interested.
