popping sound while streaming audio on different websites
Hello,
I'm using firefox 48.0.2. I listen to podcasts streaming for at least 6 hours a day, have been doing this on same machine for several months with no issues. About 2 weeks ago I started getting a "popping....stuttering" sound during streaming. This isn't a buffer issue.. I do get those from time to time, however this popping starts after about 15 minutes of streaming ,on any website, and continues completely steadily to the end of the podcast. At that point I start the next stream and it starts normal and after about 15 minutes it'll start popping. The only way to resolve is to re-load the page, which restarts the stream...
some podcasts have multiple episodes on the same page with individual players embedded.. I can start one playing and listen until it starts popping and... while it is still playing, starts a 2nd stream and it will play fine while the other is popping away. That tells me it isn't a buffer issue.
extensions installed: Firefox Hotfix 20160826.01 Disable Private browsing plus
also I can use the F12 and watch the network tab, on some pages i can copy the link of the stream and put it in winamp and it will play through no problem. I listen to so many podcasts a day that process isn't convenient. also that says to me that it isn't a buffer issue and that the problem exists within firefox.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks Robbie-

Good evening,
you have a sound problem? Can you please write where specifically you a problem occurs? The computer is not overloaded? Frequent cause cracking sound in the browser is precisely because of overloading.
