When I look at sent mail, the text lines have unwrapped. If it was sent like that, how can I fix that? Also, I would like to display standard line wrapping of sent mail when the window is too big/wide. Then, if the window is shrunk down, I would like to set the wrapping to trigger seamlessly, as most text systems do nowadays.

I was not allowed to join to comment on another post (makes no sense), so I guess I'll go now to comment directly regarding fonts changing upon sending.

Please send me a test message demonstrating this issue.

We know that messages sent by other mail clients can exhibit this behaviour but Thunderbird doing it on sending is new to me.

As per my test message, the lines wrap to the width of the compose window, but they don't wrap normally when the window is stretched or toggled to full size. It is more noticeable after sending because the font size is scaled down.

I switched from XP to Linux Mint about a year-and-a-half-ago. Problems with fonts/font size/and formatting have plagued me since. I hope this doesn't prevent me getting this solved in TB, but it did just occur to me that it could be related.
