When I try to fill a form at http://www.kurzy.cz/nazory/default.asp?A=N&IE=1&T=768&PR=1214924

Right above the form, in the czech laguage is written an error:

"Prominte text musi mit aspon 2 znaky"

which means

"Cannot submit filled form, text must have at least two characters"

HOWEVER, from our school library all works fine. What is wrong? Where do I find cookies for the browser to try delete some of them?

The screenshot doesn't show any data in the text area?

Does that data get erased when the form fails to submit?

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:

You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove the Cookies" from websites that cause problems.

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (3-bar Menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: 3-bar Menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

The form does not fail to submit, but after submitting the data from it (not from the rows above it) really get erased and the form opens in the same tab. I've tried all the possibilities explained above but nothing helps.

It seems like manually blocked my IP from the server side, but that is strange, I didn't ever submit anything there.

Did that solve your problem with that form submission? IOW, is it working now?

not solved at all, still red caution at least 2 characters

I fill in many characters, not only 2, and then submit. The form gets erased and appear 2 red cautions. The first one specifying terms of use and the other one "at least 2 characters necessary".

The strange thing is especially the first caution, that does not appear from computers from which the form correctly can be submitted. See the attachment.

Do you have any cookie blocking extensions?

Does it make a difference if you temporarily enable third-party cookies?

You may have to create some allow exceptions if that works.

I have only do not care about cookies extension, but it does not help to disable it.

Where do I find "start in safe mode"?

It is very interesting that from our library, where everything works fine, it allows me to send even empty form and display it to others!

You can use one of these to start Firefox in Safe Mode:

  • Windows: hold down the Shift key while starting Firefox
  • Mac: hold down the Options key while starting Firefox
  • Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
