Transferring Passwords
My old computer died...with no Firefox profile backup. The good news is that I was able to access my old hard drive. I copied and transferred key3.db, logins.json and signons.sqlite to what I believe is the new profile --
C:\Users\<name>\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ga6szcbd.default-12345
(key3.db and logins.json have a date of 1/16/2016, and signons.sqlite has a date of 9/1/2014, if that matters.)
When I open Firefox, however, the passwords do not appear. I'd appreciate it anyone could point me in a direction that will solve my problem.
Thanks!

The key3.db and logins.json have different dates. You must copy Both files from the backup for thin to work.

Did you copy the files to the current user profile? Note: signons.sqlite is no longer used.
I posted the path to what I believe is the current user profile. Is there something else?
Should I delete the signons.sqlite file? Could that be causing a problem?
Thanks, Fred!
Just to make sure;
Type about:support in the address bar and press enter.
Under the page logo on the left side you will see Application Basics. Under this find Profile Folder. To it’s right press the button Show Folder. This will open your file browser to the current Firefox profile. Now Close Firefox.
Fred: I did what you suggested, and still no joy. Attached is a screen shot of the folder that opened with about:support. I'm stumped...
Oh, one other thing, I did a complete uninstall and reinstall, so the information in the screen shot could be different from the path posted in my original post. As of this writing, the current path (at least according to about:support) is what's in the picture attached to the previous post.
Thanks!
