FF for Android v 34.0.1 Android OS v 4.4.2 Device = SMT217S (Samsung Galaxy S Mini Tablet)

2 Add-On extensions published by Google that sets a permanent cookie preventing tracking data being sent to Google Analytics servers. (At least that is according to the description..)

google.com/settings/u/0/ads/plugin

and/or

tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

Error encountered preventing automatic install of the add-on after successful download and selecting Allow option displayed under the message prompt "Firefox blocked [add-on] from installing'.

A generated message on the bottom of the device GUI display states that the version of Firefox 34.0.2 is not compatible with the GA opt-out add-on. Shouldn't it be the other way around? Is it possible that this add-on can be installed?

Thanks!

They look like they were made for desktop Firefox in mind and not for Android Firefox.

Thanks for responding! I was not aware that opting out of Google Analytics tracking cookies required a desktop platform version, but leave it to the Android OS brand to not provide a mobile platform option! Thanks again for your valuable input.
