The Support instructions say to to the following:

"At the top of the Firefox window, click the Firefox button and select Set Up Sync. The Firefox Sync Setup window will open."

However, my Firefox button doe s not have an option to "Set up Sync." There is an option to :"Sync now" but clicking that does not appear to do anything.

I have checked under Help to assure I am using the latest version of Firefox, That does not seem to be the source of the problem

Is the Android version also Firefox 28?

Firefox 29 has a new version of Sync and once a Sync account has been updated to the new Sync, it is not compatible with Firefox 28 and earlier.

I just downloaded Firefox on my Android a few days ago, so I assume it is the current version

If that is the case, you will need to upgrade the desktop / laptop that you posted here with to Firefox 29.
