I am using a new NEC lavie laptop(13.3 inch) with a 2560 x 1440 display.

Though in general the high-DPI scaling works pretty well, Flash player bar does not scale with the rest of the website. For example, when I watch a Youtube video, the text, objects, etc. scale appropriately, but the buttons for the flash player are very small.

I think it's not Adobe's problem,because in IE(10) ,Flash player works well.

Chrome,Opera has the same problem too.

Thanks for your reply.

The first PNG is image of "flashplayer in FF", the second PNG is image of "flashplayer in IE10".

By the way, win8 has "change the size of all item" , my setting is "200%", the setting seems not work for the flashplayer in FF.

Changing the "layout.css.devPixelsPerPx " value to 2.0 has the same looking as the "change the size of all item to 200%" in Win8.

It doesn't work for the flashplayer in FF too.

Hello,

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information.
Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions and some Preferences.

  • Open websites will not be saved in Firefox versions lower than 25.

To Reset Firefox do the following:

  1. Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
  2. Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
  3. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
  4. Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.

Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us!

Thank you.
