I have unwanted hyperlinks on my computer. Apparently only on my computer. For example, the word, "revitalize" is now underlined and in a hyperlink color. I did not put this there. How do I remove it.

I cleared my cache and that seemed to do it.

Thanks so much for your willingness to help a stranger.

I'm having a similar problem after recently upgrading to Firefox 12.0. I've tried clearing the cache, running malware checks, anti-virus and no luck. The unwanted links only appear when using Firefox and not IE. My websites are NOT hacked. It also has a "FT logo on the lower left hand side of screen that links to "Fan Tracker"

How can I get rid of this?

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.
