I'm using Firefox 10.0.2 on a iMAC running 10.6.8. Firefox doesn't display icons in Gmail. On other webpages it doesn't display the "submit" button as on Amazon. I also have Safari on this computer which displays all pages perfectly. I've tried the "safe mode" it didn't clear up the problem, I emptied the cache which also didn't clear up the problem. I deleted the app from the MAC and downloaded a new Firefox, but when i opened it, it had all my bookmarks and it didn't correct the problem. 1] How do I correct the problem? If necessary, how do I delete Firefox and install another version?

Tann3r, I did all the steps suggested in the articles. I cleared the cookies and cache, Java script was enabled, basic style. I have a Mac 10.6 snow leopard. I've run Firefox in the safe mode to eliminate any apps. I've disabled all apps and plug-ins and gone to the basic theme. No luck. Could it be a conflict with the Mac OS?

How can I delete Mozilla from my Mac and load a new version? Henry

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Accessibility settings.

  • Firefox > Preferences > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors : [X] "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above"
