How do I stop Firefox's automatic updates?
I just read the following: "Mozilla is changing the way Firefox installs on computers in an apparent concession to enterprise users it previously ruled were irrelevant. Future versions of the open-source browser will download and install silently on your machine, saving you the bother of downloading and authorizing the update." This is NOT acceptable to me as there are several extensions that I use the seem to lag behind your updates by several months. These programs / extensions are more important then having my browser updated without my permission. I need to be able to control the timing of the updates so these programs work properly. One of these program/extension is my secure financial sign-in device. This is always months behind any browser updates. Please let me decide on when it is best for me to update the browser. Therefore, how do I stop the automatic updates from every occurring? Thank you for sending me the details instructions.
