I can not see images in the incoming mail.
Hello! I recently upgrade my Firefox 4 for the newst 5.0. Since then, many things have changed: First, all the bookmarks dissapeared, so I had to intall all of them. Second, I can not use the Google Bar in Firefox 5.0. Third, and I do not want to be rude, the new 5.0 is difficult to use. I prefer the older version, sincerely. Fourth: FireFox 5.0 is erratic: some times I can see the images inside a mail, but generally I can not. I checked the options and the checkmarks in the CONTENT menu, but It does nort work. QUESTION: What can I do as to go back to the OLDER Firefox Version? The 5.0 is terrible to use. I do not want to use Explorer or Chrome, but if forced, I will. Yours, Rllavaneras

-> When you use Clear Recent History make sure NOT to select Cookies, Forms and Search History, Active Logins, Site Preferences
-> If you use Privacy Cleanup softwares like CCleaner, DON'T SELECT FIREFOX IN ITS SETTINGS. These softwares can be responsible for Deleting your Firefox Settings.

Dear Mr. mha007, good afternoon. I really appreciate your selfless effort in giving me those steps as to solve the inconvinient. Even when I do not like to be followed or my stuff to be traced, I followed your instructions. None of them worked. I still can not see the images inside an email. And it happens only with those kind of messages. Generally, Gmail asks if you want to see the images contained on them. Your option is to say yes or no. But, I ask: Why do I have to be fixing or adapting my Firefox? I just want to open an easy-to-use browser! But, what happens when that browser does not work the way it used to be on the older versions?, What if I were a older person? I am an older person, but I do like going inside software to know the to-do-things. I will keep on trying with Firefox 5.0 until I feel its lack of friendlyness is not enough for me. So far, we have spent TIME, precious TIME in asking and answering questions. I really appreciate your kindness and helpness mha007. But I am not willing to spend time useless. One last question, and please, try to answer it: How do I install the older version of Firefox? It worked very well, for me. Yours truly, Rllavaneras
Did you try this link: -> Images or Animations do not load
If NO, then check it first. If YES then bummer !! I was hoping that would work :-( Anyway here's how you can Downgrade to a previous version.
Uninstalling Firefox
- https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Uninstalling%20Firefox
- DO NOT SELECT THE OPTION TO REMOVE YOUR USER DATA AND SETTINGS
Downloading Firefox 3.6.19

Check and tell if its working.
