shockwave does not work in firefox but does in ie. it does not show content. worked in version 3 of firefox not in 5.
adobe shockwave player does not work in newest version of firefox (v.5). it does work in internet explorer though. and it also worked before in version 3.

Try checking your plugins. If any of them aren't up to date, update them. Then see what happens.
If you use extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extension) like Adblock Plus or NoScript or Flash Block that can block content then make sure that such extensions aren't blocking content.
its the newest version of shockwave, yes i have adblock, but i disabled it and it still didnt work. i also tried disabling my antivirus. i will try to uninstall adblock then see if it works..
Check and make sure Shockwave for Director is listed in your plugins page. If it is, go uninstall and reinstall it.
Do not confuse Shockwave for Director and Shockwave Flash.

Both are different programs (plugins), so there is most likely no need to look at Shockwave for Director.
Does Flash work properly on the Abode welcome (test) page?
