Somehow I buried the "All Bookmarks" folder underneath another folder called the same thing. However when I go to save new URLs, Firefox only recognizes the buried folder. The buried folder has the three official Firefox Toolbar menu, my bookmarks menu, but they are called "(no tiltle)". Below all that I have a copy of all my folders and bookmarks - these are an exact duplicate of the folders in the buried folder.

The problem now is that when I go to "save" a bookmark, Firefox saves it in the buried folder since it is the only one it recognizes.

I tried moving the buried folder up in the hierarchy, but Firefox will not allow it.

What do you suggest I do?

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

"This can be a problem..."? I already said that. IT IS a problem. I need a way to bring the official folder up in the hierarchy. Does anyone know how to do this?
