Programmatically tick check items in the advance javascript settings

more options

Hello Sir/Madam,

Is there any way to programmatically set (in javascript, .net or whatever language) tick or untick items in the advance javascript settings e.g. enabling the Change status bar text to enable javascript window.status='hello world!';

Instead, user will still have to go to Tools>Options>Advance> and tick the item.

Kindly Advise.. Thanks.

Mozilla user.

Messing with the Statusbar from a website is blocked, unless the user changes the setting himself. Changing Firefox settings from the web is a security issue.
