Hello sir, I have a new PC so I used mozbackup to backup old thunderbird whit .pvc file. after i completed to setup my PC windows system and install thunderbird into new PC. my old email setting and mail can't be restore back. it is still asked me to input new account after i used Mozback to restore .pvc file succesfully. can you show to me how to have my old email back, thanks. First, mozbackup is dangerous - even the developer says so. See https://mozbackup.jasnapaka.com/ Post screenshot of what you do have and maybe someone here can suggest next steps.

I should have been more clear. You need to post a screenshot of an unzipped profile so that we can see the folders and message files that are there.

thanks for you help. I rename to zip file and unzip it then copy all the file into C:\Users\aikiw\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\9yrqejc8.default I start Thunderbird app and it only restore back the mail to 2020. I backup mail date is Nov.04 2024 but 2021 to 2024 mail all not recover, thanks.

That may be due to having used Mozbackup. It has been known for corrupting profiles. I am pleased that you were able to salvage some of your data.
