Bitdefender quarantines my entire inbox when it finds a trojan in an email.
When downloading messages if there is a trojan in an email Bitdefender quarantines my entire inbox and subsequent emails in the same download have no inbox to write to so give an error. There is a work around but it is a pain. I have to do the following.
1 Log in to webmail 2 Delete suspect emails manually 3 Delete the popstate.dat file 4 Rerun the download.
This is a pain and I run the risk of losing older emails. I have switched off antispam in Bitdefender to no avail. Running 64 bit Windows 11 with the latest versions of Thunderbird and Bitdefender.
Hope someone can help.

Thanks Wayne, Easy when you know how. I am sure I won't be the last to fall in to this trap,
