Disable download window
Hello,
Since last Firefox update, the download window popup is displayed everytime I download something (red box in the screenshot).
I tried looking in the settings but there is only two lines for where to download or to ask me at each download.
In the personnalization menu there is only the option to display or not the download icon (blue box in the screenshot), and I want the icon to always be seen like I used to.
Tried to look into about:config but I don't know which setting to set on true/false.
I would appreciate some help to not have the red box popup appear when I download. Thank you.

In Firefox 97 and 98+ there have been changes to the download panel.
You can set this pref to false on the about:config page to prevent opening the download panel on each download.
- browser.download.alwaysOpenPanel = false
You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I accept the risk!" to continue.

Thank you, worked perfectly. I would really suggest to put "false" as the default setting, everyone I know dislike this panel opening for no reason (not a big sample of users but still it says a lot when everyone dislike it).
It's like Firefox wants hackers/scammers to push files without alerting the users as you've seen on chrome. I never expected this day would even come when you will see firefox removing a "feature" without giving a proper UI based option to turn it back on. I am on 97.0 just because of that single stupid decision.
