How to remove the Bookmark star from the URL address bar?

more options

Hello, I need your help with removing a duplicate bookmark star from the URL bar, please. The thing is I already have moved it to the top left corner just as I prefer. However, the star in the URL field is impossible to kill. I have tried to use the customization menu but it does not allow me to drag off this annoying URL star. And, even if I right-click it in hope to find something like "remove/hide the Bookmark star" this star does not react to right-clicks. Also, after some research I have not found the way to do it via about:config :-( _

Can you help me remove the star in the URL bar? The star in the top left corner though should stay because this is where I need it, but the star in the URL bar should go away.

PS this problem appeared after the "wonderful' June GUI redesign. Before that I was able to remove the star easily from the address bar. I am attaching a screenshot below:

Try this. http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=675505&f=38

Hello, jonzn4SUSE .

I have tried the code provided on that forum. I created a chrome folder with the chrome.jss and then tried many times with some variations. It hasn't worked for me. Perhaps the information is too old and does not work for the modern version of Firefox. I still need to remove the star button from the URL line.
