Hi, I'm using Thunderbird V 68.12.1, and the app suddenly began to mark selected messages from users in my personal address book as [SPAM?] in the subject line. However, it doesn't activate the junk status icon, nor does it move the messages into the Junk folder. Also, if I send messages to these users, any automatic "read" or "received" reply messages will not be marked with [SPAM?].

I use the app with default settings in the global pages as well as in the account-specific settings pages. Where should I start to look for the problem, or can you tell me what the problem is?

Thank you in advance for your help!

TB doesn't use the term SPAM, so it's applied by another process, probably your mail provider's spam filters, before mail is downloaded to TB. You may be able to avoid this by adding the contacts to the webmail address book, or whitelisting or unblocking them when reading webmail.
