Thunderbird is not emptying the trash folder(s) when exiting. I have 3 different mail accounts and they all have the "Clean up ("Expunge") Inbox on Exit" and "Empty Trash on Exit" boxes checked. However none of these accounts are having their trash folders emptied when closing Thunderbird.

Any idea why it is not working?

Thanks

Actually found the issue. Thunderbird was NOT updating the message count in those folders until going back in to them. So it may "show" 100 messages still in the trash when re-opening TB but it did actually delete them but just didn't reset the counter.
