Can't save bookmarks to synced folders.

more options

As the title suggests, I figured I would use the firefox sync feature to move my bookmarks over to my new computer, but the folders are now 'unusable'. I can open them and go to bookmarked pages, or create new folders and such, but I cannot add more bookmarked pages to the synced folders. Is there some sort of bookmarks folder marked as read only? If so, where can I find it? I would appreciate your help in solving what I assume is an issue.

Bookmarks are stored in one file named places.sqlite. There is no way that one "folder" can be "read only".

That may be caused by a slightly corrupt places.sqlite file. In Help > Troubleshooting Imformation if you scroll down that internal page you'll find Places Database that has a Verify Integrity button, Click that to trigger an internal diagnostic / correction procedure that should correct any corruption.

See if that solves the "folder" issue.
