Had a power outage on 9_16_14. 1. One of my email accounts will let me send email. This is the "Main Account" I have with Time Warner Cable. 2. All of the other email addresses I have will not let me send email using Thunderbird. 3. I called Time Warner Cable and we did tests using their webmail server and I was able to send emails on all of the problem email addresses. 4. I get the R0107004 Error message if I try to send emails on the four other email addresses I have. 5. I have checked the spelling and typing accuracy on all of the problem email addresses and they match perfectly the email addresses I use on the four problem accounts. 6. The Names of the users of those problem email addresses are correct also. 7. What I don't have is a way to re enter the Passwords for each email address that is required by Time Warner Cable so that the outgoing email will be sent. 8. The Passwords for the incoming email have been set correctly in my password manager within Thunderbird, but the passwords for SMTP outgoing server are not present and there doesn't seem to be a way to reenter the password so that this would work. I need a way to get the passwords into my password manager for the SMTP Outgoing Server for each of the email addresses that are giving me a problem This shouldn't be so difficult. There should be a dialog in Thunderbird that would allow me to set those passwords in the preferences or set up areas of the application. Please help. Thank you

I think the full error message is: "From address must match authentication [R0107004] Please verify that your email address is correct in your mail preferences and try again."

As this is smtp issue, the error is refering to the email address in the outgoing server (SMTP). First check all the smtp servers, make sure they are using the correct User name and Authentication is normal password. Then check each mail account is actually using the specific smtp server for that mail account.

Tools > Account Settings > Outgoing server(SMTP) There should be five different smtp servers, one for mail account select one of the smtp servers that is not working click on Edit button

If you have some email addresses using same server, then suggest you use 'Add' button to create one for each. under 'Description' type something to help easily id the server eg: Personal or Website etc make sure it has the correct User Name - full email address this must match the account name email address which is using this server.

authentication method: Normal Password check server details are correct. click on Ok to save changes.

Then check that the mail account is actually using the correct smtp server. select the account name look bottom right pane for Outgoing Server (SMTP) click on drop down box to select different server if not correct.

Repeat for all four mail accounts.

Usually if no password is stored then this is prompted when sending, but usually if the password is wrong, the error message specifically states 'password' in the error message. In your case it seems to be suggesting that four of your accounts are not using their own smtp server whose username(s) are not matching the account name email address(s) of those four mail accounts. So check all those details first.
