Some security certificates were accidentally deleted on Windows side of my Apple computer. If I try to go to those websites using Firefox, I get the message "Server not found" I can go to other websites with no problems.

I tried using Internet Explorer on the Windows side, and I get the following message. "The requested URL "http://facebook.com/" cannot be found or is not available. Please check the spelling or try again later."

I tried clearing the cache, uninstalling and reinstalling. I tried cleaning the hard drive and defragmenting the computer.

If I shut down the computer and restart on the Apple side, I can go to the same websites with no problems on any browser. What do I do to fix this?

Deleting certificates should have this effect as this would cause an untrusted connection error. Server not found would indicate blocking by security software or possibly malware.

See:

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if this helps.

Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
All these programs have free versions.

Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.
