I have two Macs with Firefox, A and B. I don't understand the sync. I have different bookmarks on firefox in computer A and computer B. I want to transfer the bookmarks from A to B, not vice versa. What is the process and sequence of signing in/syncing so that the bookmarks go from A to B and not from B to A? Thank you for your help.

You might need to use a backup file for this if you do not want to end up with merged bookmarks. Here's what I have in mind:

Step 1: Make a manual bookmark backup on computer A (creates a file with a .json extension)

Step 2: Get that file over to computer B (you can use shared storage, an email to yourself, etc.)

Step 3: Restore the backup on computer B -- this will totally replace the existing bookmarks

The following article has the details for Steps 1 and 3:

Restore bookmarks from backup or move them to another computer

Success?
