Remove Double Dash From Signature
All signatures in my emails start with a double dash or double hyphen, like this: -- It really doesn't look very professional, and I would like to remove it or alter it. How can I do this?

The separator can removed by changing a preference in Config. editor, in Options/General/Indexing.

If you remove it, it may have the opposite effect: those who know its significance might regard its omission as 'unprofessional' or at least unknowingly misguided. The separator makes the signature omitted in a reply, as the original sender doesn't need to see their own signature.
