Dear reader,

I have been using Thunderbird for years now. A few days ago I used CCleaner. The day after Thunderbird give an error stating : "Sending of password for user patrickjaecques did not succeed. Mail server pop.gmail.com responded: Web login required: https://support.google.com/mail/answer/78754". I checked everything on this support page, four times over, and still the problem is the same. I also re-installed Thunderbird. Started up my PC and checked for virusses. I am 100% shore the password is correct. It also works with the online Gmail account. So what's going on ?

As I said... I have checked every item on the support page multiple times. Also this ' allow less secure apps ' acces...

What I find strange is that, in the online Gmail version, I can't select POP3 options. It states that POP is active, but I can't select any option. When I select any, and save, nothing changed.
