it works fine on my desktop, new harddrive 3 days ago, but not my moms new harddrive, last night, both are same versions of windows x64, which is why im confused. Extra note...... in the thousand times I've installed Firefox i have never seen it make an empty "Mozilla" folder on the desktop like on hers every time you run it. (I've build/serviced many machines)

Hi, have you enabled 'Show Hidden Files and Folders' on your PC? if so turn it off and see if the folder disappears.
