Yahoo im boxes not poping up when receiving or sending messages. Message received indicator flashes in the yahoo tab but no IM box appears. Same feature works with IE. Tried relaxing popup blocker feature with no luck.
When logged into Yahoo, the built in IM box feature never pops up. My contacts lists is shown, my IM received indicator flashes in the Yahoo tab when I receive an IM, but no IM box appears. IM box also doesnt appear if I try to initiate a chat by clicking on a contact name. I tried putting Yahoo in popup exceptions list with no luck. Seems the feature stopped working after the last update. The same feature works fine when using IE so I assume it isnt an antivirus or firewall issue. Use windows 7 & avast antivirus.

I am encountering the same issue. I am using Windows XP and McAfee antivirus.
