When I want to use an email link given in a document a popup window appears "Link Application send to Yahoo or Googlemail or choose" I want to use Hotmail, my normal email. I can't find where this is on my computer, or is it somewhere in my Firefox settings?

Please do the following.

  1. Open Internet Explorer, go to Tools, then Internet Options.

  2. In the menu which appears, click the Programs tab.

  3. Where you see "Email", choose "Windows Live Hotmail" from the list.

  4. Click Apply/OK to exit and then close Internet Explorer.

  5. Open Firefox, click Tools | Options | Advanced.

  6. In the General tab, checkmark: Always check to see if Firefox is the default browser on startup.

  7. Click the Check Now button.

  8. Click OK, OK to exit.

Now when you click on a link in an email, it will launch Hotmail in Firefox.

Many thanks for your help, but it still won't work. I go to I/E, Tools, Internet Options, Programs but Cannot see "Email" listed so I clicked Set programs- 1st option set defaults-but hotmail not listed. 2nd option associate file types-ignored that one. 3rd option change autoplay-ignired that one. 4th option set program access, no hotmail shown. Any ideas?
