I wanted to protect all my website passwords and set the master password. I carefully picked out the password and wrote it down. When prompted to enter it I precisely entered it in the popup screen. It takes the password or seems to but keeps bringing up the box to enter it again. I tried to change the master password and it asked for the password I chose, I entered the one I chose and it tells me that is not the correct password!!! Help!!!!!

Try to reset the Master Password and try again to set a new master password and paste that written down master password twice in both fields.

If the master password isn't working and you can't change it either in Options > Security then you have no choice but to reset the master password.
It is possible that the key3.db got corrupted in the master password isn't working/
