deleting private info for one site only
For one site specifically, upon logging in to the site, I am unable to delete old user login info that comes up in a drop down when I go to enter my user id. I don't know how to delete that old private info. I don't want to delete history, private info or cache on all my Firefox sites's settings. I tried deleting individual cookies for that one site, but when I restart Firefox, it still remembers that old user ID info that I am trying to wipe out.

A possibility is to use Forget About This Site (History, right-click context menu). That should remove saved names and passwords too.

cor-el, thanks for your reply & help.
I deleted the autocomplete entry, and it seems to help.
I can't figure out how-to, or where to "Forget About This Site." Feel free to elaborate if you like. (I'm using vs 3.6.8 on Mac OS X).
thanks again!
"Forget About This Site" can be found in the History. Select the item that you want Firefox to forget and open the right-click context menu.
You can right-click that website in the History sidebar and use "Forget About This Site".
Be aware that "Forget About This Site" does more then deleting the history, so be careful with using it.
Firefox will forget (remove) everything from the selected site and that includes passwords, cookies, saved form data, exceptions (images, cookies, pop-ups) as well as bookmarks and history and cache items.
