firefox.exe this program is configured to be kept running at all times
it causes tonnes of .dmp files on hard drive. It stops when firefox is uninstalled. Windows still keeps trying to start the program every second.

Hi there,
Just for some diagnostics about what exactly is the trigger of starting it up, could you boot into safe mode with networking and see if it's still triggered? Thanks o
Windows was started in safe mode. Installed Firefox again. Now i don’t have this problem. No .dmp files on harddisk.
you can just close it via Task manager =D problem fixed !!
I can not use Firefox because it is uninstalled. In this case i don’t have this problem of .dmp files. But there is a process still working to automatically execute Firefox.exe. When firefox is installed the problem starts over and over again. This process of automatically starting firefox has to be killed but i don’t know how. It goes on even when firefox is uninstalled. But without .dmp files. The last thing i changed about firefox had to do with sending large files. The problem is not solved. I can’t use firefox.
Problem solved. I used Process Lasso function “reset to all defaults”. Thanks for your replies.
Launch Firefox, select “Tools” and then choose “Options”.
Click the “Content” tab and then select the “Block pop-up windows” check box.
Apply the changes by selecting “OK”.
Does this still happen if Firefox isn't set as the default browser in case some software tries to launch the default browser?
Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. All these programs have free versions.
Make sure you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.
