How can I reduce Ghostery icon by 50% - it's HUGH now!

The Ghostery add-on icon is 1" high which reduces the height of display screen below the tabs by 1/2". Is there any way to reduce the size if that icon alone?

Hello, this is on the add-on developer - not Firefox, file a bug on their respective site.

I've tried emailing them several times but their replies have a header and nothing but a blank scree below it.

It's possible you might need to use an older version of the extension if it has been updated for Firefox 57-59 in a way that isn't fully backwards compatible with Firefox 52. This page has the older versions:

https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/ghostery/versions/

On the Add-ons page, each extension has a button you can use to disable automatic updates for that extension. To access that, either:

  • Ctrl+Shift+a (Mac: Command+Shift+a)
  • "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
  • type or paste about:addons in the address bar and press Enter/Return

In the left column of the Add-ons page, click Extensions. Then find Ghostery on the right side and click its "More" link. Scroll down to the area with controls and you should find the option to turn off automatic updates there.

Probably a good idea to check in two weeks to see whether a better version is available by then.
