How can I open a few tabs (not all) from a bookmark-folder with CTRL+mouse, without having to open the bookmark-folder everytime?
When I want to open bookmarks in a folder, I open them by clicking on the folder and then CTRL+mouse. But then the folder closes automaticly, so I cannot instantly open another bookmark. I always have to open the folder again.
In Chrome the folder stays open. Thanks.

Would not running with the Bookmarks Sidebar showing allow you to move where you want since it is open until you shut it.

Are you using the Bookmarks Menu button that looks like this:
There are a couple settings you could try flipping:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button promising to be careful or accepting the risk.
(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste bookm and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click the browser.bookmarks.openInTabClosesMenu preference to switch the value from true to false
(4) Double-click the browser.tabs.loadBookmarksInBackground preference to switch the value from false to true
Does that help?

I was not opening the bookmarks in a sidebar but instead in the top-toolbar.
But that's it, thanks a lot! I guess this "false" setting as default would be generally usefull for all users. Does anyone know the reason why this is not default and what is your opinion?

Usually I open one bookmark at a time and wouldn't want to have to separately close the menu. So I definitely prefer the current default.
Actually, I usually enter a few characters from the bookmark in the address bar and open it from the drop-down because my menu is a mess. But I'm sure that's not typical ;-)
Interesting to know, how users open their bookmarks. :)
In my case, I have a folder for online news and depending on the time I have, I open more or less websites. Similar about weather forecasts. For a small overview I only need 1 site, for more detailed information I open 2-3 websites.

That probably saves memory compared with what I do for pages I check a few times a day, which is I leave an extra window open with those tabs and switch over to it from time to time.
