upgraded. doesn't recognize username &/or password. tried to change password, but never received email with link to do so. Uninstalled and reinstalled Thunderbird, but still have same problems. It says it sent link to change password, but I never receive it.

More info is needed to assist you. Host Machine's OS (operating system) and Version(s) you installed/uninstalled/upgraded. In the case of the upgrade, via what method? Standalone or with the built-in update mechanism, where you press the 'Restart to apply update' Button. Please share via a screenshot or pastebin link the information provided in the troubleshooting info section of Thunderbird.
