When trying to use Google search engine, either through the toolbar tab or just typing in the address, it says 'connecting' and the loading icon goes round and round, until it times out. Then it says : The connection was reset

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Did you check the settings in your Avast security software?

Try to disable IPv6 (check for other possible causes as well).

Pretty sure it's not the Avast software as I only downloaded that last night in case there was a virus causing the problem. It found one small thing which I deleted, but it's still not working. I tried the IPv6 thing just now - didn't work. Tried a bunch of the other stuff in the next link, didn't work either. Maybe I should just download Chrome and use that..Though I do like Firefox.
