Does Firefox support Windows XP SP3?
Now that we are in April of 2015, Will Firefox provide updates and patches for Windows XP SP3 users? Google Chrome supported XP till April 2015, I cannot afford to buy a new computer and am looking for a new browser for my Windows XP SP3 laptop.

Firefox is safe on WinXP, using the same code as later versions of WIndows use, but since WinXP doesn't receive security fixes Firefox is only as safe as WinXP is safe. Slippery slope when using an EOL operating system - and the web browser won't "fix" shortcomings with WinXP as far as security goes.

hello tschmoe, yes firefox continues to support windows xp.
About the only Windows requirements changes I have seen for near future is that when Win64 for Release (as early as Fx 38.0) finally comes out it will need 64-bit Windows 7 and 8.x at minimum. The 64-bit XP, Vista and Servers are not supported.
Does anyone know how much longer Firefox will be safe to use on 32-bit XP. Just wanna make sure I am 100% safe to login to my banks website.

Note that this isn't only about Firefox. Firefox may still receive updates for unforeseeable time, but a lot of other software on a Windows XP computer is no longer maintained with (security) updates.

There has not been any changes in last while besides the minimum requirements for Win64 Firefox. The Firefox 41.0 is currently the target for Win64 release. The 64-bit WinXP, Vista and servers users will not be able to run Win64 Firefox but can still use 32-bit Firefox. This has been the case since Win64 development builds of Fx 37.0 if i recall.
