Options -> Under general tab select "When firefox start Open my previous tabs. If that doesn't help . Reset firefox . Options -> Troubleshoot -> Reset

It should be Options or Preference. It should be available within top line buttons (Menu Bar) . Search it At the Top line button of your windows

Well for that open you history, hopefully you will find all of them over there.

Press ctrl + h . Withing today tab search your browser.

If you use the Time Machine on your Mac then you can try to restore an older version of the sessionstore.js file.

You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:

i just found out today that my time machine has not been working as i need to put in a external hardrive to make it work

If you do not have a sessionstore file with the tabs then you can look at the history or cache (about:cache) to see if you can reconstruct some of those tabs. Otherwise it is likely that you have lost them.
