Unable to connect to my bank
Since update to v25 (now I have 25.0.1) I cannot connect to my bank (https) anymore. Every other site works well. The bank-side is ok, because with IE it works fine (helas...). Since long I use the same settings and I changed nothing. I use every update and the update procedure resets all settings to what is was before the update (I think). All cookies are accepted. Checking all settings I couldn't find anything strange. I think it might has something to do with security. Was something changed since v.25? Is there another way to find out what is the problem?

Hello,
Can you please provide a bit more detail on what is not working with the bank site? Are you not able to open the site or are you not able to login or are you not able to perform some transaction on the site. A bit more detail will be helpful in troubleshooting.
Thank you
I'm sorry. My information was not clear. I can connect to my bank and I can do a lot of tasks there, viewing my payments for instance. But when I try to create a new payment, when I select a number to send the money to, this number is not accepted. The chosen number is not put into the correct field, but I can do everything else. Of course the payment won't work because of the lacking number. I hope this clearifies the problem.
Can you reach that input field (i.e. see a cursor) when you click the mouse?
If that isn't working then try to reach this field with the Tab key.
Ok. Now I'm officially not a scientist. Your questions triggered me to try several possibilities. I can reach the field (any field) with the mouse and with the Tab key. Therefore I could even type in the required bankaccount number and transfer the money. The point is however, that I should select an account from the addressbook and the chosen number is supposed to go in the banknumber field automatically. This was the normal behaviour until recently. To complete my trial: when I logged out the bank told me there was another payment which was not sent yet: "do you really want to logout?". When I clicked "Yes" nothing happened. I had to close Firefox without logging out. Again: in IE this is all still working ok. Can you make something out of this all?
That website may be using autocomplete=off to prevent Firefox from saving the name and password and other form data.
You can remove autocomplete=off with a bookmarklet to make Firefox store form data like names and passwords.
Note that Firefox won't auto-fill saved form data automatically when autocomplete=off is used, so you need to double-click the empty name field to get a drop-down list.
