Can the Aurora version be installed sperately from the beta version on the same computer?
I have the latest beta version installed on this computer. If I install the Aurora version will it replace my beta version? With IE10 it has a separate install as standard (Internet Explorer Platform Preview) and does not replace other versions of IE. Is Aurora like this or is it like a normal installation and updates the version already installed on the computer?

Do a custom install and install each version in its own program folder to use multiple Firefox versions.
Create a new profile exclusively for each Firefox version.
Create a desktop shortcut with -P "profile" appended to the target to launch each Firefox version with its own profile.
See these mozillaZine KB articles for information:
Aurora is not a version but rather a developmental channel which Firefox 8.0a2 is currently being worked on until it merges/moves to Beta channel.
Also keep in mind that with Aurora there could be updates every 1 to 3 or so days depending on whether there are new checkins.
Cor-el, none of those options, except perhaps creating a whole new windows profile, work.
What do mean not work?, the creating a new Profile for Firefox?
If so then make sure Firefox is completely closed/exited first before trying to start Firefox with the Profilemanager otherwise a new Firefox window will just open instead.
Did you do a custom install of both Firefox versions, each in their own program folder ("Mozilla Aurora" and "Mozilla Beta")?
