Firefox 6.0 does not allow the "linkscanner" function of AVG 2011-free to work. What to do?
I just updated my home computer to Firefox 6.0, and I notice that the "linkscanner" function of my AVG 2011-free anti-virus software does not seem to be working. Previously, a web search would produce a page of websites, each one of which would have a small icon beside it indicating the threat level of the website. This is no longer happening. I've read that FF 6.0 is not yet compatible with that feature within AVG. Will a fix be available soon? If not, how do I revert back to Firefox 5.0 to recapture that AVG function?

According to AVG,
AVG LinkScanner 2011.1391 Hotfix 8 adds support for Firefox 6.0. So you must be on LinkScanner version 10.0.0.1391. Please update AVG to the specified version - 10.0.0.1391.
AVG does not recognize 10.0.0.1391 (or 10.0.1391) on its website. Is this a valid number? I can't seem to find it anywhere to download. I currently have version 10.0.1392 AVG free installed.
@vtdds71,
Sorry for that. I am not an AVG user. I gave you the information found on -
http://free.avg.com/us-en/avg-release-notes#tba3
Click "Program update AVG LinkScanner 2011.1391 Hotfix 8" on that page and it says "Implemented support for Mozilla Firefox 6."
Please try a repair of AVG as suggested on this article-
