Google Maps 3D stopped working
I've used Google Maps 3d on this machine before. I don't use it all the time. Not sure at what point it stopped working, but sometime in the last 3-6 months.
Windows 10 Pro version 22H2 Firefox version 124.0 (64-bit) Hardware Acceleration is turned ON webgl.enable-renderer-query=TRUE webgl.enable-webgl2=TRUE webGL.disable=FALSE WebGL 2 Driver Renderer=Google Inc. (Intel) -- ANGLE (Intel, Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 Direct3D11 vs_5_0 ps_5_0, D3D11-10.18.10.5059)
Google Maps shows the Global View as greyed out so I'm unable to use 3D. Did a test on https://get.webgl.org/. I see the spinning cube.
Any suggestions?

Make sure privacy.resistFingerprinting is false in about:config.
Instead you can enable privacy.fingerprintingProtection and create an exception for WebGL by changing privacy.fingerprintingProtection.overrides to +AllTargets,-WebGLRenderCapability.
I checked privacy.resistFingerprinting and it is already set to FALSE. Maybe because this laptop doesn't use finger printing?? Not sure how this would help but followed your suggestion and changed privacy.fingerprintingProtection.overrides to +AllTargets,-WebGLRenderCapability. restarted Firefox and still no 3D
Does it still happen in a new profile? An easy way to test a new profile is to install Developer Edition and see if it happens there or refresh your existing profile. Make sure you stay signed out of your sync account when testing.
You're talking about my firefox profile not my google account right?
Yes, did you try Developer Edition?
